Its over, Part 2

And typing it in for the third time. Blast the power supply and the browser cache.

This time its not about cricket. But its rather about a few events that took place in my life recently. While the ashes-retaining dream of the aussies is still alive, one of my dreams, unfortunately, kicked the bucket at an early age.

Happened to run into this lass a few months back. Stared talking to her, and was impressed by her attitude and zest for life. Pretty soon, the initial impression I had about her, turned into admiration and soon into a crush. It was a humbling experience for me, since I thought myself immune to matters of heart, and thought it all to be hogwash. But, a little later, I knew I was in trouble.
Tried to muster up courage to tell her, but the words died in my throat every time .

Finally, somehow, managed to tell her. Fortunately, she took it rather well. Maybe she was expecting me to say something of this sort, given my asinine behaviour at times in her presence. Unfortunately, she told me it wont work, and she had her own reasons for it. .

So, a little despondent now. Gotta come out of this soon. Knowing me, I think I will come out of it sooner than later. Anyway, cricket starts next week, and gives me something to worry about (given how aussies play now) and my mind will be away from this.
