Saw Star wars Episode IV (for the first time) yesterday. Extremely interesting movie (guess I am not the first person to say this
).
Having seen some of the CGI action in the new hollywood flicks, I wanted to know how this movie would look like. And it did not disappoint. Its hard to imagine how this movie was shot all those years back. Routine things like funny looking creatures would have taken a lot of hard work back then, I guess.
Only disappointing part, though, was the light saber duel betwen Darth Vader and Obi-wan Kenobi. Had seen Revenge of the Sith recently, and the fight sequence in that between the same characters still lingers in my mind. However, I do not think creating a fight sequence like that would have been possible when Episode IV was made.
Have to watch Episode V tonight…..
